I call these the Fairy Birds. I wanted to combine my collage with painting. I definitely feel inspired by Charles Altamont Doyle for these 2 pieces. In his lovely diaries he often sketched maidens being chased by large birds......

I am busy making spring wreaths and flowers for stores at the moment. I got a lot of orders at the gift fair. The grocery bag paper is lovely to work with  - I have tried painting it too for a different effect.
