These paper wreaths are very GREEN... I use paper that I have left over from my collage work. I find, source and use vintage buttons. Finally I attach it to an upcycled picture frame. It is fun to see what paper I have used - sometimes old maps, old sheet music, old recipes and poems.

I had a wonderful weekend - sunny skies at The Beehive Market on Saturday and Spice of Life Festival yesterday in North Berkeley - not so sunny but still a really lovely event.

An old piece of wood transformed into Sleepy Birds. For this piece I used salvaged wood and created a collage of birds in nightgowns and pyjamas. I added vintage red buttons.

A box and a Sea Giraffe.......

These two new pieces will be at The Beehive Market on Saturday. The box is an old Kodak transparent oil colour box that I found at a flea market. I painted it and collaged on the top and inside the lid. I chose the mountain sheep for her calm beauty and spectacular horns.....

The Sea Giraffe

The Sea Giraffe is a curious creature found in the North Sea. She wears beautiful dresses and plays with the starfish.... For this piece I painted an old tray. I put hooks in the back so Sea Giraffe can hang on your wall.
