I received my invitation to join Pinterest earlier this week and I am completely hooked, which probably explains why I haven't been on the BB blog. I love finding interesting images to 'pin'. I have been creating Beetles this week. This one is a Striped Cucumber Beetle. I found some sequins to make her dress sparkle. She measures 10x10 inches.

I came across these beautiful illustrations of Beetles by Dru Drury, (4 February 1725 - 15 January 1804) the English Entomologist who collected over 11,000 specimens of insects. His butterflies are also wonderful. It is his birthday tomorrow!

Teeny Tiny Art Show opening this Friday....

I am so excited to be in this show with some wonderful artists. The opening reception is on Friday February 3rd from 5pm - 8pm. I will definitely be there with my tiny birds in spirit!
