From my Lepidopterology series. This little butterfly measures 6 x 9.2 inches and she is a collage on an old book cover. I created the dress from images cut from Vogue magazine and Demorest's Monthly (year 1872).

Colourful Butterflies
This collage is another one in the Lepidopterolgy series. It has been created on an old book cover, using images cut from Vogue magazine and English insect books (hence the spelling of Colourful). After 11 years of living in America, I have never got used to spelling 'colour' without the 'o' as in 'color'. So I was happy to use this English spelling version!
